The Western Area Business Forum will host a presentation by the Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator
The Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator is a not-for-profit, business initiative that works with employers to develop entry-level staff that stay, perform, and progress. They do this by recruiting candidates where existing corporate recruitment networks do not reach, assessing their competencies to match them to the jobs where they are most likely to succeed, and exposing them to a high quality, tailored and cost-effective bridging programme that directly addresses the risks identified by employers.
For employers, Harambee develops a pool of work-ready entry-level recruits able to integrate into and perform in the workplace, retaining employment and with the ability to progress. Harambee’s services may also be utilised to leverage points for your organisation’s BEE scorecard.

She provide an overview of the Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator and explain the process we which they follow to source, assess, bridge and place youth, who have been locked out of the formal economy into sustained employment within the formal economy.
