Celebrating 20 Years of Promoting KwaZulu-Natal's Successes

The publishers of the KwaZulu-Natal Top Business Portfolio are proud to be celebrating our 20th edition in 2018.
Our innovative approach to staying abreast of media trends ensures that our communication channels remain current. The KwaZulu-Natal Top Business Portfolio's ongoing success has been achieved through its annual printed publication as well as a comprehensive and well ranked multi-media website. In more recent years, social media tools and an electronic flip book have been well utilised.
KwaZulu-Natal Leaders' Portfolio
This year we are excited to include an additional multimedia feature. Following the successful launch of the KZN Leaders Portfolio in 2017, it is our intention to feature video interviews on this platform as well as on our other websites and social media platforms.

Each selected leader will be interviewed on camera by our team, incidental video footage will be obtained, and an edited video clip produced We will again publish a separate KwaZulu-Natal Leaders' Portfolio profiling these business leaders (www.kznleaders.co.za)..

The Standard Bank KwaZulu-Natal Top Business Portfolio Awards powered by the eLan Property Group have firmly established themselves as a highlight of the KwaZulu-Natal business calendar.

This year the variety of awards on offer will once again celebrate successful companies and organisations in KwaZulu-Natal. The Awards gala dinner offers an excellent opportunity for all business sectors to meet, be inspired and showcase their achievements to their peers.

Each of the awards on offer celebrate and recognise business and organisational success across the economic sectors in both the private and public arenas.

The Awards' criteria have been drawn from the principles of the King IVâ„¢ Report on Corporate Governanceâ„¢ in South Africa 2016, http://www.iodsa.co.za

  King IVâ„¢ sets out the principles and recommended practices for all organisations to apply and explain in order to achieve good governance outcomes.

In line with King IV, the Awards focus on the organisation/company success in relationship to the economic, environmental and social spheres in KwaZulu-Natal. Factors such as brand and reputation, stakeholder relations and goodwill, environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and quality of governance are all taken into account.
