iLembe Chamber's International Trade Desk and Electronic Certificates of Origin

The iLembe Chamber, in partnership with ECOO - Smart Admin, will be hosting another information and training session on our electronic certificate of origin system - especially for those exporters who have missed the previous session. 
 
As a reminder, the iLembe Chamber has been accredited by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) to operate an International Trade Desk.

A primary activity of the Chamber's International Trade Desk would be to issue exporters with Certificates of Origin, an international  trade document which confirms that goods in a shipment are obtained, produced, manufactured or processed in a particular country. 
 
The iLembe Chamber is further excited to partner with ECOO - Smart Admin in the submission and issuing of the Electronic Certificates of Origin. The use of their electronic platform will optimise efficiency, among others through electronic signatures and ​paperless certificates ​that are ​accessible on an online portal - at no extra cost to your company.

The ECOO â€" Smart Admin will be at the iLembe Chamber offices on Monday, the 11th of June 2018, to demonstrate, provide training and assist export businesses to register on the ECOO system.

11:30 - 13:30
13:30 - 15:30
The aforementioned will take place at the iLembe Chamber of Commerce's offices, The Quarter Centre, 1 Stewart Drive, Ballito.

In order for the ECOO team to assist with the registering of your business on the system on the day, please bring the following documents with you on a​n​ USB memory stick, or email Jennifer Scott on jenny@s-squared.co.za with the information beforehand. 
- A copy of your Company Registration (CK / CIPRO) document.

- A formal undertaking.
