Celebrating Success

2018-11-27

Acknowledgment is one of those things that you don’t think about until you notice it’s missing.

As business leaders, we often don’t take time to celebrate the successes and achievements, of ourselves and of our businesses. However, a celebration provides a moment to pause, acknowledge the good work that has been done as well as the people who do it.

As such this copy of KZN Business Sense is proud to feature a number of the KBCC members’ annual award events, which acknowledge their members or associates’ endeavours in a range of categories.

These awards comprise: We congratulate all those individuals, companies and organisations in the public and private sector who have participated in and supported these events.

In addition, we would like to congratulate eThekwini Municipality and its investments promotion unit, Invest Durban, who cooped no fewer than eight Diamond Arrow Awards in the prestigious PMR.africa awards. Business awards are a way of recognising the amazing contributions of these individuals, companies and organisations to our communities and to the economy of our province of KwaZulu-Natal.

By acknowledging and celebrating success, we are acknowledging the hard work, outstanding achievements and vision that has so often driven these journeys.

In addition, winning an award is a confirmation that you are successful in a competitive environment. This in turn will greatly enhance your reputation to your customers, which will generate more revenue for your
company and motivate you and your employees to reach greater heights.

A business award win or nomination can open doors and have a greater impact on the growth of a smaller company. We therefore encourage all business people to continue to strive for greatness in all that you do and to welcome the recognition that success brings. We look forward to celebrating with you in 2019.

We would like to thank our editorial partners for their continued support throughout the year. We wish you and all our readers well over the upcoming festive season.
