OFF TO A SIZZLING START

The inaugural 2020 Chamber Lunch was a rollicking affair on a typically hot summer's day, with a hint of Valentine's Day.

Pietermaritzburg Midlands Chamber of Business CEO Melanie Veness set the ball rolling with a brief report on a meeting with the Msunduzi Municipality over service delivery issues in the city, before turning her attention to the infinitely more fun and frivolous matters at hand.

As per the norm, there were plenty of jokes, lucky draw prizes and two brief company introductions - by Anthea Forder of AppCity and Margaret Birkett of Remax. Guests lingered long after proceedings had come to an end, always a measure of another successful networking event.
