Three Cities

The Three Cities group was formed in 1988 as a hospitality group offering specialized services in the tourism industry. Today the group manages and markets over 40 quality tourism and leisure properties and has a strong network of sales and marketing specialists working out of Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, London, Milan, Helsinki and USA.

Three Cities Management Limited (“Three Cities”) recently announced that they have entered into an agreement with Queensgate Hotels & Leisure Limited. The agreement will see Three Cities taking over the management of all Queensgate Hotels with immediate effect, on a fee sharing basis. The deal will see the Three Cities room stock grow by an additional 600 rooms within 8 hotels and by early 2010 a further 400 rooms.

The group’s distinctively unique portfolio of four and five star properties includes: City Hotels, Resorts, Exceptional Safari’s and Signature Hotels. It also incorporates three campuses of The International Hotel School, a Bush Academy, an Equestrian academy and uShaka Marine World – the largest Marine Theme Park in Africa. Brand flexibility is one of the Groups hallmarks and allows each hotel to establish and maintain its own identity whilst being sold to the travel trade under the Three Cities umbrella. Even though each property has its own individual personality, the hotels are brought together in a common bond of service excellence of international standards and quality appointed accommodation appropriate to each of the properties marketed. Customer satisfaction is their biggest priority and the group is constantly striving to provide a high standard of service excellence, customer care and attention to detail.
