Please note that the Gijima KZN Local Competitive Fund (LCF) Phase V will be launched by the Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDT) during April 2014.  Brief information regarding this Fund is included herewith for your information.  The indicative deadline for the submission of LCF concept note proposals to the DEDT for consideration and evaluation is 30 May 2014.  The revised LCF Guidelines for the 5th call, should be available on the Gijima website at http://gijima.kznded.gov.za from Monday 14 April 2014.

I propose you indicate if you are interested or aware of any potential project applicants who the DEDT can engage and assist in preparation for the comprehensive LCF application process.
