A libertarian view of the KZN and South African economies – please join us for a presentation by Dr Clive Coetzee, Economist at the KZN Treasury where he gives us an update on the local and international economies.

Dr Clive Coetzee: - General Manager, Infrastructure Management and Economic Services, for KZN Provincial Treasury

Dr Coetzee is tasked with determining and evaluating economic parameters and social economic imperatives to inform provincial resource allocation.  As the General Manager, Infrastructure Management and Economic Services, his duties include:

• Compiling the annual provincial and municipal
  economic review and outlook
• Providing comprehensive economic analysis for the
• province, municipalities and relevant stakeholders
• Providing quality innovation, research and support for
• provincial economic policy development
• Providing inputs to the KZN estimates of provincial revenue and expenditure and budget processes
• Developing and Maintaining the KZN economic databases and economic models
• Conducting provincial economic and project feasibility and impact assessments
