2016-03-07

Compliance with the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act requires that every organisation that processes personal information appoints an Information Officer. An introduction to the POPI Act will provide Information Officers and their deputies with the knowledge and skills to address developing, publishing and maintaining a POPI Policy which addresses all relevant provisions of the POPI Act, including but not limited to the following:
The workshop will also address, developing, publishing and maintaining a PAIA Manual which addresses all relevant provisions of the  Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), including but not limited to the following:

Dr Peter Tobin will be presenting and highlighting why the POPI Act
