The Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in conjunction with Garlicke & Bousfield, will be hosting Dr. Shashank Vikram, Consul General of India in Durban, Dr. Shashank Vikram, will be sharing his vision for vibrant business relationships between Indian and South African businesses, especially those located in KZN.
Dr. Vikram is a medical graduate. Before assuming the position of Consul General in Durban, Dr. Vikram served in various capacities in the Indian government, in Indian embassies abroad, and in the State Government of Uttar Pradesh. His foreign postings have included Pakistan, Lisbon and Brasilia. Dr. Vikram has had diverse assignments in government, including those related to health and family welfare, tourism and foreign direct investment.
