The iLembe Chamber in collaboration with Edge training has a great pleasure in inviting you and/or your managerial staff to our LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOR NEW MANAGERS WORKSHOP that will be held on the 08th of March 2017.
This dynamic course has been designed to develop the skills of those who are newly appointed, or about to be appointed, into team leadership or managerial positions. The course will show delegates how to assert themselves as team leaders and quickly gain the respect of their team. It will then provide a structure that will guide the new leader to success in their initial management role.
Who should attend: Management positions that will benefit from this workshop include supervisors, line managers, team leaders and junior managers. The size of team that report into the role can be between one and fifty.More established managers who have previously attended the course can attend as it refresher.

Assessing the characteristics of successful leaders

Understanding the relationship between emotional intelligence and self leadership

Identifying and understanding your locus of control

Applying the concept of the self thought motivational cycle to our understanding of self and the motivation of others

Determining exactly what motivates you in your work environment

Developing the necessary resources in order to effectively accomplish tasks in the workplace
