#SHAPEDURBAN
The Durban Chamber is a proud partner of the #ShapeDurban movement led by the eThekwini Municipality.
The City has introduced the Shape Durban concept, which is an economic and inclusive growth initiative geared towards building a City that everyone wants to live in.
The City wants to fundamentally change the way in which strategies are developed, through a new approach which is a “partnership for growthâ€. In essence, it seeks to co-create a strategy/growth path that is developed, signed, owned and implemented by a cross-section of key economic stakeholders. This is a call to action in eThekwini for a compact that changes the growth path of the city which will help create a conducive business environment and bolster economic growth. The Durban Chamber will champion all business inputs derived from the conversations from the Shape Durban movement to stimulate public-private partnerships.
