|APPLICATIONS OPEN TO ATTEND THE DURBAN INVESTMENT & BUSINESS ROADSHOW , 17th & 18th September 2014
The Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with eThekwini Municipality and Trade & Investment, KwaZulu-Natal, will be hosting an
Investment and Business Roadshow in Durban, South Africa,
on the 17th & 18th September 2014
We are looking for local and international qualified private and institutional investors to attend this event to become acquainted with a number of investment opportunities which have been identified for their accessibility and their potential. The event aims to establish a global bilateral or multilateral intercommunication platform among international and South African corporations, private equity funds, government agencies, financial institutions and investment service suppliers in the Durban area, in order to provide real investment opportunities in what the MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index (2012) rated as the “fastest-growing city in Africa in terms of visitor numbers”.
Investment dialogue will be the core function of the event. This will depend on engagement with project owners and promoters, on site visits and the sharing of general and specific information about investment in the city and the projects on show.
Investment opportunities will include projects in all quarters of the city and delegates will be transported to each area where presentations, and in some cases site visits, will take place. The projects to be showcased are:
In the North
Dube Trade Zone
LIV Village Training Centre
Sibaya Phases 1 and 5
In the South
KwaMnyandu Shopping Precinct
South Illovo Precinct
In the West
Mpumalanga Town Centre
Cato Ridge Hub
Details of these projects are available on the Kwazulu Investor website, www.kwazuluinvestor.co.za. Among them they address:
- City development
- Residential development
- Commercial and retail land use
- Infrastructural development
- Industrial development
The projects to be show-cased will include public projects, those that involve public-private partnerships, and some that are within the private sector but which are aligned with, and supported by, the local government.
Please note: This event is an exclusive event and is by invitation and approved application only and limited space is still available. There is no registration fee and all guests will be accommodated at the Elangeni and Maharani Tsogo Sun Hotel on the Durban beachfront. While local transport during the Roadshow and airport transfers will be covered by the organisers, airflight travel will be at the attendees’ expense.
Further event details can be found on our website, www.durbanchamber.co.zaor by emailing Debbie Isaacs on email@example.com for the official registration form and comprehensive programme.
Project details are available on the project listing portal, www.kwazuluinvestor.co.za .
We look forward to your active participation and hope that you will be able to take advantage of this exclusive opportunity.
