Obituary Of Eunice Magagula
2018-11-28
The Chamber staff were sad to hear of the passing of a dear colleague, Eunice Magagula, who retired in
December 2017 after 30 years of service.
Eunice took care of the thousands of delegates attending functions and training on the 7th floor of JCC House, where she served the teas and lunches over the years.
She took enormous pride in the presentation of the refreshments and food served and in ensuring that visitors felt acknowledged and cared for.
She was as dependable as the sunrise - through all the years, even during the troubled times when there were disturbances in the townships, Eunice never missed a day and was never late.
Her two sons had the best possible example of steadfast parenting through thick and thin. Eunice always emphasised that she was supported in all aspects of her life by her strong faith. Her colleagues are glad that
at her farewell party they had an opportunity to tell her how much she had been valued and appreciated as a member of staff and a truly worthwhile human being.
