Mr Thami Majola


Mr. Thami Majola holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree and is currently completing his Master's Degree (all course work completed and currently finalizing dissertation) (LLM) in environmental Law. He is a practicing attorney and Notary Public. 

He also serves as a legal consultant (senior legal officer) to A District Municipality and a Company Secretariat/ Legal advisory services to its Economic Development Agency where he is responsible for the provision of a variety of legal services support including drafting of contracts and related documents.

Mr. Majola has also been a member of the Municipal Legal Forum and Municipal By-Laws Task Team under the auspices of Corporative Governance and Traditional Affairs Department (KZN).

Mr. Majola also has experience in insurance litigation process, having worked in an Insurance Litigation Department of a large law firm in Durban.
Mr. Majola has experience in Labour law matters, having worked in a Labour Law department of a large law firm in South Africa. He also has provided Labour Law advice and litigation to varies clients including municipalities.

Mr. Majola is also involved in International Trade and Transport. Mr. Majola's focus is on mineral export industry, general import/export and mining investments and incidental matters to those areas including litigation.

Mr. Majola has also been involved in provision legal support to the less advantaged communities within KwaZulu-Natal in particular with respect to environmental law issues and Labour law.

Mr. Majola has also been involved within traditional authorities' issues, assisting traditional authorities with their legal issues ranging from appeals of their decisions to issues of rentals for the use of land under their control and issues of permits to occupy.

Mr. Majola has experience in Local Government Law and Administrative law having done work for Municipalities and having done work against municipalities and other State Owned Enterprises.

Mr. Majola is also a Notary Public. As a Notary Public he Assists clients with authenticating documents signed anywhere outside the Republic of South Africa. Mr. Majola also assists in the execution of inter alia Lease agreements (long term) and trust deeds,  Antenuptial contracts, deed of servitude,  Certain documents relating to the transfer of property, and  Certain forms of security or sessions.
