• Head of the Crime Analysis Division at the Directorate of Special Operations in the National Prosecuting Authority.

• 2009-2010 Regional Executive Manager of the South African Social Security Agency in KwaZulu-Natal before joining the Office of the Premier in KwaZulu-Natal as the Director-General.
