The hard work put in by everybody involved ensured the opening of the Tunnels on 20th November 2015. BO’s happily donated the use of our earth-moving equipment, as well as the blocks needed for the paving of the Tunnel site. The tunnels are already in use, with cucumbers being grown and harvested for resale to outlets like Checkers.

The LIV-Village project is a healthy investment in the community; upskilling and developing young minds and at the same time generating tangible results for their efforts. The project was officially opened by the MEC of Agriculture, Cyril Xaba, at the LIV-Village tunnels.
