A "WOW" experience

The award winning Supertech Durban (Pty) Ltd is an icon of Durban. Newly opened in January 2013, this state of the art dealership is situated on the corner of Solomon Mahlangu Drive (previously Edwin Swales Drive) and Bellair Road.
 
The dealership has been built to BMW global standards to reflect performance, innovation and luxury, which are values associated with the BMW premium brand. The facility consists of a modern showroom with double volume  glass display frontage, a specialist workshop, guaranteed original parts department and ample secure customer parking.
 
Headed by Shabir Tayob (MD), wife Farida Tayob (Director) and his son Mohammed Ubaid Tayob (Director), Supertech is an established family run, privately owned business. Founded in 1983, the dealership has built up a proud reputation for success and has consistently exceeded its targets in all areas of operation including after-sales service and customer satisfaction (SCSI) reliably boasting top placements in national SCSI scores as well as achieving national aftersales excellence awards in all departments.

Our presence was acknowledged from the time we drove in and continued through the greetings of warm, polite, friendly receptionists to the most competent, ever-so-willing Sales Executive (Imdaad) and then to the efficient, professional customer service (Regina).
 
I received calls keeping me informed every step of the way on what was happening with the vehicle. Even after the purchase of the vehicle I still received follow-up calls from both Imdaad and Regina. This is excellent customer service in maintaining the relationship with the client.

Departments
The dealership has a number of departments, catering to various customer needs. These include New and Approved Used Vehicle Sales, Finance and Insurance, Service, Parts and Accessories, an approved Panel Shop, Human Resources, IT and Administration.
 
The state of the art Service Department will provide a service booking within 24 hours and also provides a 24 hour tow-in service for break-downs.
 
Future Plans
The future will also see showroom alterations at the dealership to facilitate the launch of BMWs new hybrid-electric motor vehicles (i-series), which will be available in 2015. Supertech Durban has also recently achieved full M-dealer accreditation.
 
Supertech Durban’s medium term goal is to obtain ISO 9001 certification, which well defines the dealerships ongoing commitment to providing a superior quality service and enhance its status as one of the leading motor dealers in the country.
