Christopher Fennemore - eThekwini Municipality, Water and Sanitation Unit (EWS), Manager Pollution & Environment Branch

Profile:
Joint Honours from University of Wales in Environmental Science and Chemistry Pri Sci Nat.

He was previously a director and fellow of The Water Institute of Southern Africa.  33 years’ experience throughout South Africa looking at most aspects of the water cycle in the natural and built environments. This includes experience in Local and National Government, 2 water boards and the Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research. He sat on numerous Water Research Steering Committees and served a short period on the Advisory Committee For The National Cleaner Production Centre. He was a UN Nominee for The Local Government Excellence Awards for his initiatives in improving Water Quality.

Christ van Schaijk - General Manager of Aquest-Colsen

Profile:
MSc in Environmental Engineering from the University of Delft, the Netherlands. 13 years’ experience in various positions. He worked as drinking water engineer for Hydron Zuid-Holland, a Dutch drinking water company.  He then became project manager and coordinator at Oasen drinking water and worked on various projects such as the Dutch-Indonesian cooperation with the Indonesian partner Kalimantan Barat. Before his current position at Aquest-Colsen he was the business development manager for Alewijnse Industrie BV in South Africa.
