The Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry HR Forum is chaired by Jacquie Bhana (Tongaat Hulett) and the vice chair is Fabian Fayers (BSN Medical).
 
The Goals and Objectives of this forum are:

1. To enable the Forum to formulate position papers, comments and recommended policies in respect of human resources, labour affairs and social policy matters;
2. To ensure that the Chamber’s view on human resources-related, labour affairs and social policy matters are communicated to business organisations and government;
3. To formulate human resources guidelines for use by members regarding policies and procedures, on a pro-active basis;
4. To facilitate the sharing and dissemination of current, relevant HR/IR information;
5. When appropriate, to meet with unions or union groupings, to address matters of mutual interest; and
