The Municipality is currently piloting the bank card facility at the main banking hall, Florence Mkhize Building. The system is currently being tested for compatibility with our systems and that of the infrastructure of the various banks. We seek to ensure that all teething problems and technical clichés are sorted prior to the implementation at all our branches.

The Municipality apologies for inconveniences caused but would like to encourage all our customers to use our e-Services facilities facility that the Municipality offers to Individuals, Companies and Organisations.

It currently offers:-

Up to date account information
Delivery of accounts by email
Copy of previous accounts

The system promises a faster, more efficient way of receiving bills and also contributes positively to the environment. In the future customers can look forward to name changes, query logging and own meter reader capturing.”

How to use the system?

Register your Profile To register go to: http://www.durban.gov.za:94/frmhome.aspx

Link Accounts to your Profile

All facilities are available for accounts that are linked to your Profile.

Customers are also encouraged to pay their accounts via debit order or EFT as this would save them the hassle and time of coming into our centres.
