eThekwini Municipality - SPORTS DEVELOPMENT ENCOURAGED THROUGH THE KFC MINI CRICKET TOURNAMENT

2015-02-11

As part of our commitment to sports development in the city, eThekwini Municipality has partnered with the KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union and Amanzimtoti Sports Club to host the KFC Mini Cricket Tournament.

The tournament will see approximately 800 children between the ages 9 and 13, from various primary schools in the Municipal area, showcase their batting and bowling skills. This is an opportunity for young cricketers, many from previously disadvantaged schools, to be exposed to the sport and to develop their skills.

Members of the media are invited to the spectacular talent showpiece.
