ETHEKWINI INSPIRES YOUTH TO MAKE INFORMED CHOICES

2015-02-10

EThekwini Municipality believes that the City’s future relies on the success of its children and is supporting government efforts to create a conducive environment for learning and teaching at schools.

In line with this, Deputy Mayor Cllr Nomvuzo Shabalala and Chief Whip Cllr Stanley Xulu will tomorrow, 10/02/2015, visit different schools as part of the City’s School Motivation Programme.

The School Motivation Programme seeks to inspire the City’s young people in making better and informed choices against drug and alcohol abuse and to instead choose education as a step towards a brighter future.

Supporting the initiative will be different artists and entertainers such as Mbusi ‘DJ Sox’ Sokhela, who will share his life experiences with pupils in the different schools.
