eThekwini Municipality - SOUTH DURBAN BASIN AREA BASED MANAGEMENT SMME EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOP

The South Durban Basin Area Based Management (SDB ABM) will host a Small Business Empowerment Workshop that will target existing businesses operating within the SDB ABM jurisdiction.

The workshop falls under the umbrella of a programme that aims to capacitate SMMEâ€™s with essential information that will enable them to access city wide economic empowerment opportunities, thereby discouraging the use of service providers from outside wards of the SDB.

The objectives of the workshop are:

To facilitate SDB economic empowerment.

Support growth and development of small businesses.

Allow local SMMEâ€™s an opportunity to engage in a competitive procurement processes

Creating awareness about the availability of business development opportunities.

Members of the media are invited to attend.
