eThekwini Municipality - Media Launch To Be Held Ahead Of Radical Economic Transformation Conference RSS eThekwini Municipality - Media Launch To Be Held Ahead Of Radical Economic Transformation Conference2018-02-12 In a bid to give practical effect to the economic transformation agenda, eThekwini Municipality in partnership with the Federation for Radical Economic Transformation (FFRET) will host the Radical Economic Transformation Conference and Expo from 27 to 28 February.
As a precursor to the Summit, a Radical Economic Transformation Conference and Expo launch will be held on 13 February at Artizen Lounge, KwaMashu. Members of the media are invited to attend the event which will be addressed by eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede and FFRET Chairperson Bonga Shongwe. They will jointly unveil a robust programme to be discussed over the two days of the Summit which aims to deepen and unpack the agenda of radical economic transformation as a collective. The Conference will take place at the Durban Exhibition Centre and will bring under one roof emerging entrepreneurs from across the City and province to engage with different stakeholders on various opportunities. These opportunities can be leveraged on in order to give traction to radical economic transformation in its truest form. There will also be an Expo held on the sidelines of the Summit, which will allow for closer interaction between industries and delegates. It will also afford the public an opportunity to visit different stalls.
