Construction Incubator Established in 2006, in eThekwini Municipality before extending its footprint to two other provinces in South Africa, the SEDA Construction Incubator (SCI) is a public benefit organisation. SCI is mandated to develop and mentor emerging construction companies in South Africa. The core business of SCI is to develop emerging contractors through the infusion of both technical and business administration skills that are aligned with the introduction of technology in order to enhance efficiency in their businesses. The key elements for SCI are job creation, youth and women empowerment. SCI Role in Construction: SCI to date has supported over 400 clients throughout its branch network.
