Bafundise Skills is an independent and innovative South African training services company offering holistic communication, personal development and general business skills training courses either NQF accredited or custom designed. Bafundise Skills is fully BBBEE compliant and owner managed by John Mabika and Gayle Adlam. With quality course content, exciting material and expert training facilitators, we strive to deliver the highest level of excellence. The company head office is based in Durban and courses are held either at the client's premises or at our different training venues.

Bafundise Skills provides structured and profiled training interventions to contracted clients. These interventions are based on improving skills and work performance relevant to each business's needs. Training and skills development is core to the upliftment and growth of the individual as well as the organisation as a whole.

Gayle Adlam

Qualifications include:

Teaching Diploma
BA in Psychology and Communication
Honours in Psychology
MA in Community Development
Registered facilitator and assessor

Gayle Adlam is a Services SETA registered facilitator and assessor. She has a Teaching Diploma, a BA in Psychology and Communication, Honours in Psychology MA in Community Development and is a certified NLP Practitioner and coach. Much of her work experience has been in teaching and training, for which she has had a lifelong passion. Her work experience also includes many years in the corporate environment in the fields of communication, marketing and publishing and as an executive assistant to a CEO. Through Gayle Adlam's academic background in education, communication and psychology as well as her varied work experiences she has acquired comprehensive knowledge and skills across a broad field of application

James Van den Berg

Qualifications include:

BA in Psychology and Sociology
BA Honours in Sociology
Post Graduate Diploma Industrial Relations
Skills Development Facilitator

He has attended several skills and development programmes, labour and training legislation courses.
James van den Berg has a thorough knowledge of legislation relevant to labour/industrial relations and training. He has several years' experience of being in charge and fully responsible for all Human Resource related functions in big corporate companies. His responsibilities included Training, Industrial Relations and Recruitment and Selection, as well as Personnel Administration. He was inter alia responsible for national and local union negotiations, training, skills development programmes, corporate structuring and organisation, performance management, communications and payroll. He represented companies with great success at Bargaining Councils, the CCMA and Industrial Court.
He has created and presented or facilitated various training programmes over 30 years, and has a special interest in personal development, team building, communications, customer care and leadership development. He oversaw corporate management development programmes, life skills programmes, graduate trainee programmes and general trainee programmes, often acting as mentor and coach.
He consulted on a part-time basis for about five years whilst still employed by a corporate company before leaving the corporate world altogether in 2014 to become a full-time entrepreneur and consultant. He consults for manufacturing and service companies including labour brokers and training providers.

John Mabika

Qualifications include:
National Diploma in Marketing Management
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration
Registered facilitator

John Mabika has a thorough knowledge of SAQA, NQF and Skills Development Legislation, coupled with experience in skills development and training. He has been employed as a marketing manager and in the capacity of Business Development Officer. John has intensive experience in business management and as a business consultant and mentor where he has given advice and provided services to a wide range of customers on business related issues.
He is a totally independent thinker and strategist as well as good Communicator of all levels, grassroots and corporate alike. John is results driven, a quick learner, job focused and customer minded at all times
