Employer Brand
Dixie recruitment:Staff members
Dixie Recruitment, although small, believes in a strong “Employer Brand†to attract top talent. We love our trendy logo â€" it depicts energy, fun and distinctiveness! We purchased our first branded Mini a year ago, advertised at sporting events, on 5FM, ECR and various editorials continually striving to position ourselves as a boutique specialist agency in Durban. We have some exciting ideas to come!
Our Website is presently undergoing a make-over. It will soon be more interactive and effective. Registration will be on-line but directly linked to our database and search engine.
Our Financial Division has seen very positive growth over the years and we will be opening a small office in Umhlanga to further position ourselves.
Dixie Recruitment is hoping to exhibit at the Homecoming Revolution in London in October 2009, our commitment in bringing some of our top talent back to the Durban Job Market.
Social Responsibility
Dixie Recruitment demonstrates the highest level of ethical conduct â€" we work according to a strict SLA and are totally committed to the transformation in SA. With many of us having been in the industry since 1991, we have enjoyed the rewards of being part of a changing work force. Dixie Recruitment has been instrumental in assisting many of Durban’s companies in their commitment to meeting their BEE targets.
On a daily basis, we counsel PDI’s in their search for employment. We assist with career guidance and interview techniques. We are passionate about Career Guidance and present to schools in the local community. Recently, in tough economic times, we have been involved in counseling retrenches on an informal basis.
We have committed to Sethani (a community-based organisation working to empower the community in Inanda) and look forward to running career counselling workshops for the youth in the community. (

On a more structured level, Dixie Recruitment has been involved with Africa Health Placements, a not-for-profit project that aims to support the recruitment and retention of public sector health professionals in Africa.
Dixie Recruitment has provided staff to this NGO as well as formalized their business processes in terms of their SLA’S, structures and recruitment processes. We have done this at no cost to the NGO. An inspiring organization, that is making a huge difference to the standards of rural health in SA.We are proud to be associated with them. (

We are committed to our environment and a ‘green office’. Our database is electronic and with our future IT recruitment projects, paper will be something of the past! In the meantime we are avid recyclers! Dixie Recruitment has recently adopted Elvi, a Wattle Crane at the Entabeni Crane Foundation in the Kamberg.
