Hi
I have to say a very big special thank you to Monique for all your help and for your teams that came to work here. Your service was absolutely fantastic and I feel like I really got so much from you. Great work, great service, great attitude all around. I also have to specially commend your team that came to work here on the Friday the 17th January. Really a good job by all three of them! Especially in the heat of the day, and nothing held them back. But all in all, both teams were great. Friendly smiles, great work and great service. Thank you so much. I look forward to our next day with you.
Kind Regards
Tarryn

Hi Kevin & Hazel
As you are aware we have sold our home and will be moving end of November so wish to advise that our service will cease then. We have been very satisfied with the service from Ladybird and our team led by Vuyo and will have no hesitation in recommending you to the new owners.
It is with a very sad heart that we leave our home of 40 happy years but it comes a time in life when one has to face reality and downsize. We would like to possibly contact you early in the new year as although our new garden is very small we would like professional advise to help us recreate a garden to attract birdlife and butterflies which have so abundant here in Westville and have given us such joy.
Please confirm receipt of this email and that you have noted our termination date.
Best regards
Janet

HI Karyn
This is the pool company that we have been using over the past few years. I have to say that their service has been excellent and it is the best R520.00 per month that we spend. The garden service is Ladybird and their number is 031 765 3109 also excellent service from both companies.

Ladybird Landscapes - Attract Birds to Your Backyard
Get Started Attracting Birds - Attract Birds to Your Backyard
birding.about.com › Home › Birding / Wild Birds › Attracting Birds by Melissa Mayntz - in 76 Google+ circles
Attracting birds to your backyard can be easy or complex, but these five steps can ... have a huge impact on how many birds you are able to attract to your yard.
There is nothing better than spending a crisp winter morning enjoying birds hopping on and off your bird feeder or watching birds attracting their mates to your bird box. It can give you hours of pleasure and can become very addictive, especially when you see them playfully flitting around feeding, chirping all in your very own garden. This is a joyful hoby for the whole family to enjoy together or a child or adult on their own, and, it other than the food, the entertainment is free.
It is widely stated that many natural habitats have diminished due to the cleaning up of gardens and reducing the main ecological attractors like space, water, food, and shelter. Sadly, also some of our native birds have diminished too and too many households opt to kill insects, all of which creates the cycle for insect eating garden birds. But, don't despair, there is a lot you can do.
Birdwatching etiquette and ethics are important in making sure that as birding becomes more popular and that the birds' habitats are not disturbed. Some guidelines suggested by the American Birding Association include:
-
Don't stress the birds with recordings or artificial lighting.
-
Don't get too close to nests, nesting colonies, roosts, display areas, and important feeding sites; your presence may interfere with birds' activities.
-
Avoid advertising the presence of a rare bird if it may result in habitat disturbance.
-
Don't attract birds to areas where they are in danger, such as if your cat plans on eating them for lunch.
Happy Birding!
Things to do - April
Your Easter Egg Hunt
If it is raining on that day try to create a mini garden under cover for the hunt
According to legend, a young rabbit who, for three days, waited anxiously for his friend, Jesus, to return to the Garden of Gethsemane, little knowing what had become of Him. Early on Easter morning, Jesus returned to His favourite garden and was welcomed by His animal friend. That evening, when Jesus' disciples came into the garden to pray, they discovered a path of beautiful larkspurs, each blossom bearing the image of a rabbit in its centre as a remembrance of the patience and hope of this faithful little creature.
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN APRIL: NATURE'S SPOTLIGHT BUILD OR BUY YOUR OWN BAT HOUSE
Why
Why should you put up a bat house?
Bat houses will definitely benefit you, your family, communities, farmers, gardeners and the ecosystem as a whole.
• Bats will eat thousands of insects and much more.
• Bat houses give bats an alternative roosting place in preference to our houses thus reducing the chance of human to bat contact.
• Bat populations have decreased significantly and bat houses can help provide a secure habitat for them.
How

Where
In order to provide a secure and undisturbed roosting location, bat houses should be placed at least 15 feet high.
