Choosing a career path is one of the most important and difficult tasks that you will encounter. Making the choice easier is possible and requires a lot of hard work as well as dedication, which will be well worth it when you are enjoying a fulfilling career.

Make the right choice

In grade 9 you are given a list of subjects from which you must choose a set course. The chosen course is what you will pursue in grades 10, 11 and 12.

Make your selection, bearing in mind that the difficulty level of subjects increase at Tertiary level. It is paramount that you choose subjects that you will be able to manage and that will allow you to select the career path that you intend following.

Your guidance counsellor will be able to assist you with more information on choosing your course, discussing your strengths and weaknesses.

College here I come

College is a time for you to create an identity, have fun and meet interesting people. At the same time, it is the foundation on which your future is based. So meet new people, have fun, but study more and excel more so that at the end of it all you will be able to use your qualification to enter a successful career.
