VEMORE BROS was fortunate to be awarded the contract from Afrox Limited and Air Liquide to remove redundant oxygen tanks from 27 provincial hospitals around KwaZulu-Natal, including the installation of new oxygen tanks. Each hospital poses unique challenges in terms of access constraints and so require careful assessment and rigging studies in advance. With some tanks weighing as much as 18 tons, precise calculation of crane sizes and rigging methodologies must be implemented to ensure each lift is carried out safely and timeously. Due to the immense importance of a continuous supply of oxygen being required at the hospitals, a short time frame of 6 hours per site is allocated. With Lovemore Bros’s large fleet of abnormal transport vehicles as well as fully-equipped crane trucks complete with qualified rigging teams, we are more than equal to the task.
