During the official opening of the Expo, the Botwsana Minister of Environment, Wildlife and Tourism , Honourable Mr  Tshekedi Khama, seen in the pictures with our very own Ms Precious Shamase, complemented the KwaZulu Natal Sharks Board from brining in such high powered delegation , which included its CEO, Mthokozisi Radebe.

The Minister said a lot of Batswana frequented South Africa in particular Durban in KwaZulu Natal because of its pristine beaches.

Naturally most Batswanas head for the Beach since there is a land locked country, continued the Minister.That is why the critical role played by the KZN Sharks Board in keeping the bathers safe at sea, could never be over-emphasized concluded the Minister.

Speaking during the live coverage by the National Broadcast, the Botswana Television (an equivalent of SABC), Ms Shamase encouraged all Batwsanas to visit Durban in numbers, and in particular the KwaZulu Natal Sharks Board premises in Umhlanga and across the KZN costal line base stations.

We must support this initiative by Botwsana as part of our own SADC development initiative.
