Thanda Private Game Reserve is excited to announce that the new tented camp is open and ready for occupancy. Thanda expanded the tented camp by nine tents and the entire camp underwent an extensive refurbishment in order to provide guests with better facilities and services. The immaculately designed tents are intended to satisfy, and to ensure that guests staying at Thanda’s tented camp will undoubtedly have the five-star experience which is synonymous with the ‘World’s Leading Luxury Lodge’.

The upgraded tented camp has an attractive reception area, a curio shop, a new lounge area for guests to relax in, an enhanced dining tent, a 10x5 metre rim-flow pool and a new boma. The old sala was converted into a spa, which is run and managed by Africology.

These new facilities ensure that the tented camp guests receive the same five-star treatment and service as guests at the main lodge. Thanda now allows children from 6-years of age to stay at the tented camp making for a perfect family safari getaway.
