Prompted by the joint statement by The Nelson Mandela and Ahmed Kathrada Foundations on the spate of xenophobic attacks, filmmaker, Anant Singh and Videovision Entertainment created the awareness video “We are Africa!” to highlight the struggles of Africa and the solidarity of its peoples during the darkest of times.  As South African’s we owe a debt of gratitude to our brethren on the continent who supported us in our struggles.  We urge all South Africans to pledge to eradicate xenophobia.
