Bafundise Skills is a niche training and development company that offers public courses in a relaxed and friendly learning environment in Westville.  An emphasis on small groups ensures that each learner actively participates in the sessions.
 
Upcoming courses will focus on developing critical management skills in building and motivating teams, as well as handling poor performance and misconduct in the workplace, which may result in chairing a disciplinary hearing.


The facilitator James van den Berg has several years’ experience of being fully responsible for all human resource related functions in big corporate companies. His responsibilities included industrial relations, recruitment and selection, as well as personnel administration. James was responsible for national and local union negotiations, training, skills development programmes, corporate structuring and organisation performance management, communications and payroll. He has been consulting for small and medium sized enterprises across the entire employment spectrum for more than 10 years. He has represented companies with great success at Bargaining Councils, the CCMA and Industrial Court.  In addition, James has a special interest in personal development, team building, communications, customer care and leadership development and has often acted as mentor and coach.
 
In addition, Bafundise Skills’ business writing and communication skills courses are very popular. To accommodate demand one-day courses will be held this year.
