Situated very conveniently in the heart of Hillcrest, Café Brevé is a simplistic modern coffee shop catering to people from all walks of life.

Their relaxed and casual vibe makes anyone feel right at home and the small thoughtful niceties like the assortment of newspapers and blankets for the cold Hillcrest mornings only makes one feel more welcome and comfortable.

Café owners Melissa Cordier and Genevieve Liebenberg took over the coffee shop in Richden's Centre on the 1st of May this year. Their aim is for the venue to be a place that won't 'break the bank' but where you can get great quality hearty homecooked fair and feel at home.

Their breakfast menu is wonderfully diverse with 12 options to choose from and the most popular being the Grab & Go which includes eggs, bacon, toast and an Americano coffee for only R35. Their speciality coffee is 100% Arabica Gold with each cup being freshly ground and they are now offering a Blacksmith blend from House of Coffees 'bottomless' coffee for just R25 for all those folks who need more than one cup to satisfy the coffee craving. They encourage business people to come in and enjoy the perks of free Wi-Fi and a cosy atmosphere as well as the value for money bottomless coffee.

They have a daily lunch special from Monday to Friday which consists of delightful hearty fair with generous portions at an affordable price of R45. They also offer a take away menu option that will include things like paninis, toasted sandwiches, wraps and salads etc and a delivery service to those working in the Hillcrest area. On Sundays they provide a roast special with meat, veg and pudding for only R65 which has proved very popular.

With the need for home cooked food deliveries increasing, they have decided to offer 'take away' home cooked meals for busy folks who sometimes don't have time to cook a proper home cooked meal and don't want the usual take away options available.

Café Brevé is open from Monday to Sunday. Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm, Saturdays 7am - 3.30pm and Sundays 7.30am to 2.30pm.
