Fastjet has had to delay the launch date of its new route linking OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) with Victoria Falls (VFA). This comes following the announcement of direct routes linking JNB to VFA and Harare last week."The timings of the flights need to be customer-centric," says CCO of Fastjet, Richard Bodin. The JNB-VFA route was scheduled to launch on February 3. The airline has said that scheduled flights cannot be confirmed until it has engaged with tour operators to ensure that they are flying optimal frequencies. Once flight dates and timings have been confirmed for the JNB-VFA route, Fastjet will engage with other South African travel agents and tour operators to discuss industry fares for inclusive travel packages to Victoria Falls.
