Latest statistics released by the Spark Cash Index (SCI)*, which measures the average value of cash withdrawals across more than 2 000 Spark ATMs throughout South Africa, recorded a positive month-on-month growth of 3.34% in average cash withdrawal figures for September 2012, from R434.93 to R449.47, indicating that local consumers are starting to feel the
positive effects of the interest rate cut which took place in July 2012.
