What is very interesting is that there don't seem to be any correlation between the different economic variables. Some have strong currencies and strong GDP growth whilst others have weak GDP growth.

Even with our GDP, interest rates inflation, etc unemployment in SA is significantly worse than any other country. It suggests that unemployment in SA cannot be explained by economic factors only. Also the argument of a strong rand seems not plausible because a number of countries with strong currencies have much lower unemployment.

I also have never seen the world economy so undecided. Its just moving along
