Definitions
Real GDP growth: seasonally adjusted and annualized quarter-on-quarter percentage change;
Current acc balance: Balance on the current account of the Bop, seasonally adjusted and annualized (R billion);
CPI (headline): year-on-year change in unadjusted all-items CPI index (average for the period);
PPI: year-on-year change in unadjusted all-items PPI index (average for the period);

PROJECT COMMUNICATION 3rd FEBRUARY 2014

The Durban Land, Sea and Air Festival is well underway and will take place over the long weekend of 20-23rd March. The Sky Grand Prix of aerobatics is the major component of the festival, bring 5 international and 10 local pilots together to compete against each other in the Sky Grand Prix format.

The festival will be complimented with a range of alternative activities, including contributions by the SA Navy, SA Air Force (to be confirmed), NSRI and many more.

With a goal of 100,000 visitors to visit the event over the weekend there is much work happening by the event team as all elements of the project are visited, complied with and considered.

EVENT LAUNCH
The event launch for media will take place this week at Circus Circus, 6th February 3pm. MEC Ina Cronje is confirmed to attend and representatives from Durban City are soon to be confirmed. Media will attend.

FIRST TRAINING SESSION
The first training session for local pilots takes place in Parys this coming weekend, 9th February.

OTHER PROJECT INFORMATION
The core project team meets every second week for a full project meeting. This is generally a feedback session as core project issues are addresses during the week. Escalation of issues are handled by the domain specialist or the project manager.
