The King IV Report on Corporate Governance in South Africa comes into effect for organisations whose financial years start on or after 1 April 2017.

King IV's focus on the responsibility of business leaders for societal and environmental impact, in addition to business longevity, is of immediate relevance to our business community.

The iLembe Chamber's Business Club, taking place on the 31st of March 2017, will pose the questions and provide the answers on the King IV Code.

The session will be facilitated by Andrew Kilpatrick, a partner with the Audit and Assurance Division of Deloitte.

Andrew has been exposed to a number of industries through his experience at Deloitte, including Manufacturing, Construction, Retail and Services, Consumer Business and Media & Telecoms. He has been responsible for audit engagements at large multi-nationals, including significant corporates within our district.

Andrew is responsible for Corporate Governance at Deloitte and is a regular expert speaker and panellist on the topic.       

This session of Business Club is especially relevant for general managers, financial, audit and HR practitioners.
