The iLembe Chamber, in collaboration with Edge Training, has great pleasure in inviting you and/or your managerial staff to our TEAM LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP that will be held on the 06th of July 2017 in Ballito.

This course has been designed to develop the skills of those who are newly appointed, or about to be appointed, into team leadership or managerial positions. The course will show delegates how to assert themselves as team leaders and quickly gain the respect of their team. It will then provide a structure that will guide the new leader to success in their initial management role.

Who should attend: Management positions that will benefit from this workshop include supervisors, line managers, team leaders and junior managers. The size of team that report into the role can be between one and fifty. More established managers who have previously attended the course can attend it as a refresher.

Workshop outline & Objectives:

Assessing the characteristics of successful leaders
Understanding the difference between leadership and management
Applying effective leadership techniques to your team
Assessing yourself and your default leadership style
Identifying situations that need leadership and the most effective response to them
Determining exactly what available resources your organisation has for you to lead
Understanding the importance a course of action and team goal setting
The importance of knowing the personal strengths of your team
Understanding and using synergy for team success
Evaluating the impact of your leadership on your team
