The concept of sustainability is being taken to a new level with the development of Sibaya, and groundbreaking plans are afoot to combine the new urban model with a vibrant tourism angle and an overarching commitment to the environment.  Sibaya’s 855 hectares of pristine natural beauty include indigenous forests and a river flood plain, and adjoins some of KZN’s most beautiful coastline and beaches. The holistic vision for Sibaya includes conservation and recreation areas, resort and eco-tourism activities with at least five boutique hotels, entertainment, compact commercial and retail zones, and residential units ranging from high density apartments to low density single homes.
