Whilst many fear the future and start reciting the forbidden word "Recession", we're roaring the positive words "Relationships" and "Rewards".  Why, you may ask yourself. Well, the relationships which business owners form and utilise will ultimately lead to the rewards which they will enjoy. This is because business is done by people and with people. It is people communicating with one another which leads to meetings, decisions being made and deals being closed. This is ultimately what has led to the formulation and the establishment of the Durban Entrepreneurs Club (DEC).

The Durban Entrepreneurs Club was founded in September 2015 by young Durban Entrepreneur and the Owner/Broker of RE/MAX Panache, Grant Gavin, to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs and small business owners to meet in a semi-formal environment, so that they may network with and inspire one another to grow their businesses to their full potential.

Commented Grant "As you are well aware, starting a new business, or even growing a smaller business, comes with many challenges, with ultimate success or failure resting largely on the ability, passion, belief, leadership skills and even financial resources of the entrepreneur.  Many take on this responsibility on their own without a network of support, and sadly, most fail.  Our goal is to provide this platform for entrepreneurs to focus on improving their networking skills, and to build relationships with like-minded individuals for mutual support, inspiration and possibly even future business deals and partnerships.

Our events focus on education, inspiration, and networking, and the response from the Durban entrepreneurs to the launch of the club has been overwhelming.  We are looking forward to building on our successful launch by driving membership in 2016 with a strategy of attracting top KZN business men and women to address our entrepreneurs at 6 events throughout the year.  We will be kicking off our 2016 Calendar on the 18th of February with Award Winning Durban Entrepreneur, Mrs Margaret Hirsch, and we are currently in conversation with other well-known business personalities who have expressed an interest in assisting us with our vision for local entrepreneurs".
